Guy passed away unexpectedly when he was just 33. He was smart, creative, and beloved by his family, friends and anyone lucky enough to know him.
Guy was a unique person who connected the academy life and the streets, the magnificent world of children and the world of adults; and most importantly between a hand that freely sketched on a notebook and a digital illustration.
Guy graduated from the Academy of Art University’s School of Illustration in San Francisco in 2019. He then moved back to Israel, where he lived in Herzliya with his beloved dog – Yuka.
Guy had the brilliant idea of opening a cultural comic bookstore in Tel-Aviv, a kind of unique store people in Tel-Aviv have never seen before. He wanted to offer others a place to get together, learn and have fun. He started working on his project, which he named “Yuka Monsters”, about a year before his passing.
It was important for Guy to learn, get to know and deepen technical tools and knowledge, in academic registration alongside modern technologies, just to forget everything and create from the heart, with boundless joy. We, at Yuka Monsters, want to keep exactly this complex.

Studying in the Preparatory will acquire knowledge about the world of design, a practical understanding of the field of graphic design and visual communication, and improve the chances of admission to studies in the Shenkar department and other academic institutions.

The preparatory program Is 5 months long and includes a weekly class of 5 hours. The studies at the preparatory, held in Tel Aviv, are at a subsidized and symbolic cost of NIS750.

Enrollment in the program is conditional on a personal interview and in accordance with the social ECONOMIC criteria of the program.
